ByteDance releases the Doubao-Seed-Code programming model

ByteDance has officially launched Doubao-Seed-Code, a model optimized for complex programming tasks. It supports a 256k long context, is compatible with the Anthropic API and major IDEs, delivers performance second only to Claude Sonnet 4.5, reduces overall usage costs by 62.7%, and has topped the SWE-Bench Verified leaderboard.
