Anthropic releases Claude Haiku 4.5 — twice the speed at a fraction of the cost

Anthropic has released the Claude Haiku 4.5 model, which doubles the speed while significantly reducing the cost, all without compromising performance. On the SWE-bench Verified benchmark, Haiku 4.5 achieved a score of 73%, placing it on par with Claude Sonnet 4 and OpenAI’s GPT-5—and even surpassing Sonnet 4 in certain tasks.
