MiniMax has released its latest large language model, MiniMax M2. Currently, agents built on M2 are available for free, supporting a wide range of functions including code development, research, and PPT creation, as well as integration with everyday programming tools.

According to test data, M2’s coding capability is close to that of Claude 3.5 Sonnet (Claude 4.5 Sonnet), and it demonstrates smooth and efficient tool usage. Users can access this model by selecting “MiniMax-M2-Preview” in the settings.
