Google’s Veo 2 video generation model has been integrated into Gemini, capable of creating 8-second 720p videos.

Google has announced that it will integrate its Veo 2 video generation AI model into Gemini Advanced. Users can create video clips with an 8-second duration, 720p resolution, and a 16:9 aspect ratio. These videos can be uploaded to platforms such as TikTok and YouTube via Gemini. The videos generated by Veo 2 can be downloaded as MP4 files with a Google SynthID watermark. Veo 2 is also integrated into the Whisk feature in Google Labs, enabling the conversion of images into 8-second videos.
