Mistral has launched the Magistral series of inference models, with the Small version now open-sourced

The French AI lab Mistral has launched the Magistral series of reasoning models, which includes two versions: Magistral Small and Magistral Medium. Magistral Small, featuring 24 billion parameters, has been open-sourced on the Hugging Face platform. Magistral Medium, with enhanced capabilities, is currently in preview and available only on select platforms.
