Amazon Launches Kiro AI Programming Platform, Officially Opens Public Beta Testing

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced the launch of Kiro, an AI-powered programming platform, and opened it for public beta testing. Kiro is an Agentic IDE that provides AI coding assistance to help developers go from idea to deployment throughout the entire development process. Specs can transform vague requirements into specific user stories and boundary conditions, while Hooks automatically perform tasks such as testing, documentation updates, and security scans before code submission.
