What is Acrobat AI Assistant?

Acrobat AI Assistant is an AI document assistant launched by Adobe for its Acrobat PDF editing and reading software. The core function of this assistant is to help users interact with PDF documents more conveniently through conversational artificial intelligence technology. It can understand users’ natural language instructions and thus perform various tasks, such as searching document content, extracting information, filling out forms, etc.

The main functions of Acrobat AI Assistant

• AI Dialogue Assistant: It provides an intuitive dialogue interface. The AI assistant can recommend questions based on the PDF content and answer questions related to the document content.
• Generate Summaries: Provide a brief overview in an easy-to-read format, enabling users to quickly understand the content of long documents.
• Intelligent Citations: Adobe’s custom attribution engine and proprietary AI generate citations so that users can easily verify the sources of the AI assistant’s answers.
• Quickly Locate Content: Provide clickable links to help customers quickly find the required content in long documents, saving time in exploring and processing the most important information.
• Formatted Output: Integrate information and format it into key points, email text, presentations, reports, etc.

How to Use Acrobat AI Assistant

Acrobat AI Assistant is currently in public testing. Reader and Acrobat customers will be able to access all the features of AI Assistant through a new additional subscription plan. At present, the AI Assistant feature will be available in English as a beta version in the desktop and web versions of Acrobat Standard, Pro Individual, and Teams subscription plans, and the English version of the feature will be provided to Reader desktop customers in the next few weeks – all these features are free of charge.

That is to say, users of the paid version of Acrobat Editor can currently participate in the experience of the Acrobat AI Assistant beta version, and subsequently, the Acrobat Reader version will also be able to experience this function.
