Motiff

Motiff is an AI-driven user interface design tool launched by Kanyun Software, a subsidiary of China’s online education enterprise Yuanfudao. It integrates multiple AI technologies, such as AI copy, AI layout, and AI creation and maintenance of design systems, aiming to improve design efficiency and productivity. Designers can collaborate with AI to initiate a new way and experience of design, making the work of design teams more efficient.

The product features of Motiff

• AI Copy: For repetitive operations of “copy-paste-modify one by one” in designers’ work, through the AI Copy function, designers can complete these steps with one click, greatly simplifying the workflow.
• AI Layout: Designers can easily make structured adjustments such as modifying margins and spacing, moving sub-layers in and out, etc., without having to perform tedious layout settings, thus solving the problem that designers have to choose between free design and structural design.
• Creation and Maintenance of AI Design Systems: Motiff  can find the required components and styles with one click, simplifying the creation and maintenance of design systems. It also provides a one-click function to check the consistency of design drafts.
• AI-Generated UI: Users only need to enter text describing the UI interface, and Motiff Miaoduo can generate design drafts. This function adopts multimodal large model technology to ensure that the generated UI interface is both aesthetically pleasing and conforms to user intentions.
• AI Consistency Check: This function can automatically analyze design manuscripts and compare them with design system files. It can identify colors, fonts, and components in the design that are not used or deviate from the design system specifications.
• Self-developed Graphics Rendering Engine: Motiff  has a self-developed Web-end graphics rendering engine. It is the second company in the world and the first domestic company to have this technology after Figma, providing excellent performance in terms of smoothness and speed.
• High-performance Editing: It supports editing of up to 1 million layers on a single canvas. It is currently the only product in the world that can maintain smooth editing with 1 million layers on a single canvas.

The product pricing of Motiff

• Basic Version: Free of charge. It provides basic design functions, with no limit on the number of personal files, allows for collaboration on 3 files, retains file history versions for 30 days, and has basic annotation functions (accessible by developers).
• Professional Version: ¥24 per design seat per month or ¥6 per month in R & D mode only. It includes all the capabilities of the Basic Version, allows for unlimited number of collaborative files, permanently saves file history versions, has a team component library, private projects and files, and R & D mode.
• Enterprise Version: ¥90 per design seat per month or ¥18 per month in R & D mode only. It includes all the capabilities of the Professional Version, has no limit on the number of teams within the enterprise, offers an enterprise-level design system, team-shared fonts, enterprise-level account and permission management, centralized asset management, activity logs, and dedicated enterprise services.
• Motiff AI Features: Open for free public testing for a limited time. 500 times per month for the AI toolbox, AI copy, AI layout, 10 times per month for AI design system, AI design system creation, AI design system maintenance, AI consistency check, 50 times per month for Motiff Magic Lab, AI-generated UI, and AI magic box.
