U.S.-based AI marketing platform Clay has raised $100 million in a Series C funding round, bringing its post-money valuation to $3.1 billion. The round was led by CapitalG, Alphabet’s independent growth fund, with participation from Meritech Capital Partners, Sequoia Capital, and others. Founded in 2017 and headquartered in New York, Clay initially focused on “democratizing programming” before pivoting to become an AI-powered marketing tool that helps sales and marketing teams identify potential leads and drive conversions.
