NVIDIA has spent hundreds of millions of dollars to acquire Lepton AI. Co-founders Jia Yangqing and Bai Junjie have both joined NVIDIA.

NVIDIA has completed the acquisition of Lepton AI, founded by AI expert and former Alibaba vice president Jia Yangqing, with the deal valued at hundreds of millions of dollars. Established in 2023, Lepton’s main business involves renting out NVIDIA GPU servers to help startups build and manage AI applications in the cloud. Currently, Lepton has about 20 employees, and its co-founders, Jia Yangqing and Bai Junjie, have joined NVIDIA.
