DAMO Academy Open-Sources “Three Core Components” of Embodied Intelligence, Releases Robot Context Protocol for the First Time

Alibaba DAMO Academy has announced the open-sourcing of the “three core components” of embodied intelligence: the vision–language–action model RynnVLA-001-7B, the world understanding model RynnEC, and the robot context protocol RynnRCP.
RynnVLA-001-7B can learn human manipulation skills from first-person videos and transfer them to robotic arm control; RynnEC can analyze scene objects from multiple dimensions and precisely locate them; and RynnRCP enables an end-to-end workflow from sensor data collection to robotic action execution, supporting multiple popular models and robotic arms.
