What is MAI-1-preview？
MAI-1-preview is a foundational model launched by Microsoft’s AI team, trained end-to-end to provide users with instruction-following and everyday query-answering capabilities. The model is a mixture-of-experts (MoE) model, pre-trained and fine-tuned using approximately 15,000 NVIDIA H100 GPUs, delivering powerful language understanding and generation abilities. MAI-1-preview is currently undergoing public testing on the LMArena platform to gather early feedback and further optimize model performance.
