Turing Award winner Bengio starts a new venture, raising $30 million in initial funding
Turing Award winner and one of the “three pioneers of deep learning,” Yoshua Bengio, has launched a new venture by founding the nonprofit organization LawZero. The organization has already raised $30 million in initial funding. LawZero is focused on building AI systems with a “safety-by-design” approach. Rather than creating agents, it supervises them, with the core goal of understanding how AI learns about the world and providing verifiable, truthful answers.
