Google Joins the CUA Battlefield, Launches the Gemini 2.5 Computer Use Model

Google DeepMind has released the Gemini 2.5 Computer Use model, which enables AI to directly control a web browser — performing actions such as clicking, scrolling, and typing. Built on the Gemini 2.5 architecture, the model is similar to OpenAI’s CUA, leveraging visual understanding and reasoning capabilities to help users accomplish tasks. In benchmark tests, it achieved state-of-the-art performance and demonstrated faster execution compared to other models.
