Princeton and Fudan University Develop HistAgent: An AI Assistant for Historical Research

Princeton University and Fudan University have jointly launched HistBench, the world’s first AI evaluation benchmark for the field of history, along with HistAgent, an AI-powered historical research assistant. Integrating tools such as literature retrieval, OCR recognition, and multilingual translation, HistAgent is specifically optimized for historical research and demonstrates significantly superior performance compared to existing models in HistBench tests.
