Alibaba Cloud’s Tongyi Qianwen has announced the Qwen‑MT machine translation model, which supports bidirectional translation across 92 languages

The machine translation model Qwen-MT, based on the Qwen3 model, has been officially released. It supports bidirectional translation between 92 languages, covering over 95% of the global population. The model offers high controllability, with features such as terminology intervention and domain-specific prompts. Built on a lightweight MoE (Mixture of Experts) architecture, it delivers low latency and low cost, with API usage priced as low as 2 RMB per million output tokens.
