CodeArts Snap is an AI programming assistant launched by Huawei Cloud. It can help developers convert natural language into standardized, readable, and secure programming languages free of open-source vulnerabilities, thereby improving developers’ programming efficiency and enabling enterprises to quickly respond to market demands. Its core technology is based on the PanGu-Coder code large model jointly developed by Huawei Cloud PaaS Technology Innovation Lab and Huawei Noah’s Ark Laboratory. It supports Python and Java languages and is compatible with code editors such as PyCharm, IntelliJ, and VSCode.

The main features of CodeArts Snap

1. Function-level code autogeneration. Through natural language recognition, it can generate multi-line code at the function level. Developers only need to press the “Enter” key at the end of the predefined function signature, and CodeArts Snap will generate complete function code that meets the business logic.
2. Line-level code generation. In scenarios where there is existing context within a function, CodeArts Snap can also understand the semantics and logic of the preceding code and automatically generate code at the line level.
3. Code generation suggestions at the cursor position. During the programming process, developers may occasionally get stuck and stop to think. At this point, CodeArts Snap will provide in-line code generation suggestions at the cursor position to offer programming inspiration.
