Chrome gets a major update: the AI that just topped the App Store is now available directly

Google Chrome has received its biggest update since its launch in 2008, introducing the Gemini model and several new AI features. By clicking the Gemini icon in the top-right corner, users can engage in cross-tab conversations to solve issues like locating missing tabs. Gemini can also consolidate information across multiple tabs—for example, comparing product pros and cons or generating travel plans—enhancing information processing efficiency. In addition, Chrome introduces agent-like capabilities that can automatically complete web-based tasks such as booking restaurants or shopping.
