OpenAI releases its first ChatGPT Atlas browser! Free to download and use

OpenAI has released its first AI-native browser, ChatGPT Atlas. The browser is built on Google’s open-source Chromium engine and integrates ChatGPT’s conversational capabilities, allowing users to chat directly in every tab. It features an in-browser contextual assistant that enables users to ask questions directly on web pages; a built-in memory function that records key browsing information; a “Cursor Chat” feature that lets users edit and refine selected text; and an Agent Mode capable of performing web operations such as filling out forms and making reservations.
