Microsoft GitHub Launches AI Programming Agent Capable of Automatically Fixing Vulnerabilities and Optimizing Code
At the Microsoft Build conference, GitHub launched an AI programming agent integrated into GitHub Copilot. This agent can automatically fix vulnerabilities, add features, and optimize code. The agent accomplishes these tasks by launching a virtual machine to clone the code repository and analyze the entire codebase. It saves changes in real – time and records the decision – making process in the session log. After the task is completed, it will remind developers to review. Developers can leave comments, and the AI will automatically handle the feedback.
